What is the most beautiful beach on Lake Como?
The shores of the lake are very diverse; in many places you can admire the mountain rocks that end directly in the lake. In particular, near the mouths of the rivers you will instead find wide beaches with the typical pebbles brought by the streams; while on the shores that gently slope into the lake without large waterways nearby, you will find large meadows where you can stop to sunbathe and spend a few relaxing hours.
But among all these beaches, there is one in particular that stands out and is completely different: I am talking about the beach called "la punta," for its position at the edge of the town of Sorico, at the northernmost point of the lake.
This is in fact the only sandy beach you can find around Lake Como, so it goes without saying that if you plan to spend a few relaxing days by the lake, this absolutely must be on your list of beaches to visit!
Moreover, if you are passionate about water sports, you will be happy to know that right on this beach there is a windsurfing and kitesurfing school, where you can also rent all the necessary equipment for these sports as well as canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards!
