The Monticello Golf Club was founded in 1974 on an area of about 140 hectares and has two 18-hole courses. It has hosted seven Italian Opens, attracting the most prestigious professionals in the world.
Currently, Monticello is one of the most important Italian clubs, consisting of high-level modern facilities. Compared to the original layout, the golf courses have undergone constant evolution over the years by several designers, taking on the current configuration with recent work by Graham Cooke.
